Bomber Command Association in Australia Inc
The Association’s membership is open to all who have an interest in RAF Bomber Command. The association was originally set up as a veteran group. The role is evolving with new members being those who wish to commemorate the service and sacrifice of Bomber Command. Our veterans and their families are encouraged and supported by the extension of membership to the wider community.
Throughout the year there are many functions held to bring together members of the Bomber Command Family. Of significance are the functions associated with Anzac Day and our annual Bomber Command Commemorative Day held in all states of the nation.
We have members all over the country and overseas. A quarterly newsletter is sent to all members. The newsletter provides members with information on events. It also has a historical feature in each issue. Contributions are welcome from all members.

Dear secretary, my name is Dale Davis from Clarendon in Victoria and I’m trying to locate the daughter of Max Johnson who flew Lancaster bombers during ww2 with I believe 467 squadron I think 29 missions his daughters name is Diane married surname not known who I think may live in the Geelong area, many years ago Max had an airstrip in Ocean Grove where he was the flying instructor and as a youngster I used to go there and help him out with anything that was needed and he and other pilots would take me up with them if they had a spare seat mainly in Victa Airtourers and I thrived on it. Max is no longer with us and I would love to know more about his flying history but I don’t know how to get in contact with Diane I did meet her a couple of times but she probably won’t remember me he also has a son Peter I think is his name but I never met him, I know it’s a bit of a long shot but wondering if you may be able to help me out in my search for her and learn more about her dad he was a great guy and I used to look up to him and often wondered what he had gone through, any help would be hugely appreciated many thanks Dale Davis
